Kodachrome Basin State Park, Utah

Well, what an experience we had at Bryce Canyon yesterday! We didn't mind the rain, but that lightening was not welcome at all.

We left and started driving along a scenic highway, and wound up at Kodachrome Basin State Park. We stopped at the visitor's center, picked up maps, then began the drive back to enjoy the scenery...only to discover that the cg host used to live in Mayberry! Tina saw our tag and stopped us...She used to be in charge of the local animal shelter (which is where Missy came from). I am pretty sure she came to one of our BSP meetings and presented a program on the shelter a long time ago. Small world! Really small...

So today we'll try Bryce again. We hope for good weather.

Enjoy your Saturday, y'all. Life is good!

It's a small world after all... I am convinced that you cannot go ANYWHERE without running into someone you know.

I remember the program, how amazing that you'd run into her so far from Mayberry! Stay out of lightning storms if you can, and have fun. Hugs!
