Today we say goodbye to Yellowstone NP—Norris Geyser above…
Dragon’s Mouth Spring (boy, was it noisy!)…
bison munching next to the road…
other elk, bald eagles, and this lovely picnic spot…
So long, Yellowstone. We are grateful that the volcano beneath your beautiful exterior remained calm during our visit.
Come along for the Griswold’s next adventure. It involves Lewis and Clark, and is less than 200 miles away.
Life is short…go exploring!

It's kind of sad that you're leaving Yellowstone. It is so beautiful there. Did Dad go swimming or just canoeing? We hope you have a safe journey to your next destination and can't wait to hear all about it.
I'm having such a great time traveling with you and Dick. Can't wait to see where you are off to now. Only 200 miles away? Let me put on my thinking cap for this one.
Have a terrific day and a very safe trip. Big hugs. :)
I can't wait to see where you go next.

I am going with the Griswold’s
Been to the Lewis and Clark trail...actually lived next to Lewiston, Idaho/Clarkston, Washington (beautiful place) and a great restaurant called Sacajawea Restaurant (great pie). Have a great time and a beautiful Monday!
I'm having a blast tagging along with you two!
Big hugs :)
Dad should really wear a life vest when he's canoeing..... Just letting you know I read these!! Love you guys!
No, Dad did NOT go swimming in YS Lake...as he and Uncle Bob did when they were 12/14! They both learned that this lake is C.O.L.D.!
And Brian, Dad wears a life vest EVERY time he is in the canoe. It's there in the photo:) I guess it kind of blends in with his tee shirt. Thanks for being concerned about him:)...xoxoxo
Wonderful travels.
wouldn't it be some to actually take the route that Lewis and Clark did?
Or to see the south pass for the first time.
Or to walk in country that human eyes have never seen?
