Paper work all done, all instructed, suited up, and now ready to go....
Zoom, zoom....he topped out at 143.25, just under son Brian's personal best of 147 mph...
Big grin...Dick said it didn't feel like six laps, but that's is what it was.It was fun, but no need to do it again. Actually, Dick said that driving the mountain road over Neel's Gap is almost as much fun.......and a heck of a lot cheaper!!! End of story!

I got to see Lynne today at the card class that Haley taught. We had a good time. Sounds like Dick had a SUPER time! (But if driving on that track is anything like driving over Neel's Gap, I will pass on it!)
Hugs, Joy

Of course that makes you a NASCAR fan, honey!
Wow! Race cars, huh? Has he tried drag racing yet?
No way on the drag racing! Flying airplanes is enuf trouble to get into:-)
Um, driving over Neel's ISN'T cheaper when you wreck the vehicle. Now is it dad??? Glad you did it and had a good time, and didn't wreck!!!
Weeellll, we came out sorta ahead with a newer vehicle and a little bit of 'boot,' but the aggravation wasn't worth it...not that the wreck was intended! And, he didn't get any points. We don't want to repeat that particular ride...xoxoxo
Dick, lookin' good and glad you had a great time. Must've been humbling to not beat your son's top speed.....that's alright I am sure you have him more than covered in the air, lol!!!!
