Musical music

"Annie Get Your Gun" had some awesome singers last night and some good songs, but it did drag on a bit too long here and there. Perhaps that was a result of the old-fashioned story line, or simply from sitting too long. The backdrops were impressive to all four of us. And we'll go back again.

Cathy's friend Vickie was the driver and a hoot and kept us laughing all the way up and back. Joy rides shotgun when we travel over mountains, so Cathy and I played backseat drivers.

We hit up some thrift stores and a discount store or two before dinner. Vickie plays Easter bunny at the elementary school each year, so she is always looking for stuff to use.

It was great fun with good friends, so it was plum perfect.

Life is good in paradise, y'all! Have yourselves a ginger peachy Sunday.
