Monday tax day

Did you ever notice: When you put the two words "The" and "IRS" together it spells THEIRS...

Me either, but it does. And is too true.

So good morning from paradise, where the washer and dryer are busy helping me with some spring Moho cleaning. All bed linens, towels, throw rugs...whatever...will soon be clean and back in place. It's a necessary chore. The house will be next. Fun. We has it.

Our Sarvisberry tree is blooming across the cove, with its dainty white blossoms slowly opening. Here in Appalachia is it frequently called Serviceberry. Their fruits are important to wildlife, who don't care what the tree is called as long as they produce those delish-to-them berries. We like happy (good) critters. The dogwoods are just beginning to wake up from their long winter nap, but their beauty is still in the future. Brown is not my favorite color, and we still have too much brown in our view, not that KC cares.

MM is off picking up a parts machine. Taxes are a done deal (his chore). Kitties are inside, then outside.

It's just another Monday in paradise, y'all, where life is mighty fine! I hope yours is, too.

Hi, KC!

It finally stopped raining and we have lots and lots of green, although much to my boy's chagrin, they can not go outside today to enjoy it as my awesome neighbor put out ant poison. Not happy times two. Bless their hearts.

Enjoy Paradise! big hugs xoxo

Yep, we've filed and paid our taxes too. Or is that they took the money. Whatever.

We are still on the boat and there are a couple of ducks that are begging for bread, but they ate it all so there isn't anymore. Bless their hearts.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs from sunny but windy California. :)

KC looks quite busy.

Yep, taxes. Ugh. If only they'd spend it wisely. I don't mind paying my fair share, but jeez. We are the middle class... and yes, our taxes went up!
