Purple clematis it is

P1010621

Camera – purple.  iPhone – blue.  Strange.

Do any of you watch The Amazing Race?  I sure wanted the father/daughter team to win, but they didn’t, mainly because a clueless cab driver got them lost in Miami on the last leg of the race and that cost them major time.  Bugger.  Dick and I enjoy this show, what with all the world-wide traveling done on it.  We could sure help out those contestants with some travel alternatives.

Our blackberry winter is slowly leaving us, and I like that.  Amy, Jason and Brian are re-doing our front yard as my Mother’s Day gift, so they need good weather to work and plant in.  It’s gonna be so pretty!  Photos will follow when done.

I’ve got a blonde funny for you:

Did you hear about the two blondes who froze to death in a drive-in movie?  They had gone to see 'Closed for the Winter.'

Pass along a smile or two today.  Life is good, y’all!

Closed for the Winter... bless their hearts.

How marvelous to be getting a new front yard courtesy of your kiddos! I can't wait to see how pretty it is and how they do it! I know you'll be rockin' on the front porch with your iced tea, camera in hand, as any good mother who happens to be a blogger would do!

Big hugs xo

Ha, ha - love the joke!
I'm sorry to see blackberry winter leaving and heat arriving, but at least it is good planting weather and I know your front spaces will be muchly beautified!

Closed for the Winter? Bwahahahahahaha. Bless their hearts indeed. I knew a brunette that was pretty dense. I used to check her roots all the time to make sure there wasn't any blonde.

Can't wait to see your front yard. Way cool and what a nice Mother's day gift. Your kids rock.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hug to you both. :)
