Tuesday in April…really?

brain%20loading

Hail.  We got some late yesterday afternoon.

Looking out across the cove during the downpour gave the impression of that other white stuff that happens in winter.  Hello, Mother Nature, this is APRIL…spring.  Remember?  It is supposed to be warm.  I am not supposed to still be wearing fleece when the calendar rolls over to April.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Howdy! Boy, you guys have had rough winter! Like I'm telling you something you didn't know...
Our rain fall is way up which means our river will actually have water in it all the way through town. It's so nice to drive over the bridge crossing Hwy 99 and see water instead of dry dusty dirt.
Hail - I always feel bad for the cows and horses that have to stand outside and get pelted with the stuff, especially when they say it was golf ball sized hail...

It''s not been very seasonable here either. Raining pretty good today, but at least its not snow. That's my mantra for this Tuesday morning.

At least its not snow, at least its not snow.

I hope spring shows up soon. We are getting some warm days and then right back to cold. I dress three different ways some days. You get the drift.

Have a terrific warm day honey. Big hugs. :)

We had wind and sideways rain. Rivers are up big time. Getting ready for company. More rain in the forecast. Going to be a precipitous spring here in Ohio...

It was actually flurrying on us at lunchtime in Asheville today! The highest mountains had that icky white stuff on the ground. YUCK.

Here in Portland we say summer comes on July 5th. Not sure when spring is coming, it's not here yet.
