clemetis

Hello, clemetis.  I see your buds on our trellis, and I await your beautiful purple blooms.  I’m glad you are faithful and show up each year.

The Lady’s Slipper I mentioned before is indeed in the orchid family, Ivana.  I rescued those two pink babies (and others) from an endangered spot and have been pleased with their annual return.  I did have a yellow one, but I am afraid our house construction might have disturbed it.  I’ll have to be on the lookout for it this year.

The kids have been busy cleaning up the pontoon boat to get it ready to go in the water (we provide the toys; they get to clean them up—nice deal for everyone!).  Dick checked out the engine yesterday, so it is almost good to go.  Woohoo!!!

What did I just hear?  A cold front moving through on Wednesday?  Oh noooo.  Say it ain’t so, weatherman Glenn!  Did I “woohoo”  too soon???

Spring? Where? Where?

Your post was cute, I liked the 44%, seems so true. Sadly.

Thunder bumpers here, but nothing severe. Typical spring stuff. I wish the weather would normalize, but then this could be normal for up here. I don't know.

Have a wonderful day! Hugs!

Not as "cold" as recently but not warm either - and more rain! My knees confirm this forecast.

We were cold and wet yesterday. Like winter is hanging on for all it's worth. Nice today, but chilly. I'm so ready for nice weather.

We get our boats serviced at the end of each year. We took our big boat out to the island for a work weekend. Tried to fire up the generator to heat water and keep the batteries up only to discover that the generator battery died. Thank goodness we had the portable Honda generator. Shame on us for not checking before we left.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)

Ah yes, we're having the same problem with spring installation up here, too. The darned April showers are really getting a bit out of hand and we're more than ready for a few May flowers!
