Friday photos

At long last, here is the Carnival Imagination (the ship Dick and I were on) docked in Nassau next to the Carnival Fascination and Costa Atlantica:

Dick never went ashore, but I got off so that I could download messages on my iPhone for free.  I didn’t realize we were departing early Sunday.  What’s up with that?  We could have rowed back to FL faster than using the engines, we were going so slow.  As it was, we docked at 8ish on Monday morning, traveling what?, all of  178 miles in 24 hours?  Sheesh.

We saw some ugly, I mean UGLY shoes—very high heels, multi-straps around the ankles and stuff like that—I was never in a good spot to photo them, though.  However, I did get a couple of funny ones:

Does this guy think this is attractive?P1010467

Let’s see now—white and blue shirt, paired with blue and white shorts.  Yep, that matches.  Honey, I’m ready to go to the lobby and nap in front of everybody!

We did meet some interesting folks and had a very nice, relaxing time.  The shows were the same ones we had seen on the Glory, but there was a different comedian who was quite good.  This guy was a trooper, doing 3 shows the first night, since the second comedian was delayed out of Miami due to the fires at the airport.  We didn’t get to see the second guy the Sunday night, opting to be lazy and watch the Amazing Race on TV instead.  All in all, a good weekend.

But there’s still no place like home…even when chilly temps are hanging around.  Spring will get here—maybe next week.  No fooling.

Happy April Fool’s Day, y’all!  How did it get to be April already???

LOVE the pictures!
Someone asked me this morning, "What happened to Spring?" and I said, "April Fool!"
It will be hot soon enough but right now I'm chilly.

I know right where you were. I so loved that cruise. Can't wait for our Hawaii one. Zane's never been to Hawaii so it will be all new to him. We both love sea days and we'll have eight of them on our next cruise. Yummy.

Today it's going to be nice and warm and then back in the upper 60s tomorrow. Oh well.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs to you both. :)
