Monday with friends

Our day began with breakfast at (where else?) John G's with Lyn and Terry, long-time local friends, followed by a stop at a local craft place to use a good coupon and pick up a few supplies.

Dick and Bill have gone pedaling around the park, so I have the remote control all to myself...hello HGTV...but now the Olympics are on, so I am enjoying watching that while I do a little work around here.

Today is going to be our warmest day all week...maybe 70. A cold front is moving through tonight, but I'll take that over the snow that is still in Mayberry where schools are closed today, and not because it is President's Day.

Spread some cheer around today, whatever you do! And stay warm!!!

I wish I could have gone to breakfast with you too. Just saying.

We had a taste of spring this weekend as we took the boat over to Rio Vista for our monthly yacht club function. I wasn't wearing a jacket. Just my long sleeve shirt and I was warm. It was wonderful. Come on spring. We do have a lot of blossoms popping out too. Beautiful.

Have a terrific day and enjoy the Olympics. Big hug. :)

It fah-reezing here! My Dad is wearing his wool cap IN THE HOUSE. Bless his heart. He takes blood thinners, and the heat is on 70. That is my absolute limit. I can barely breathe. Heat dries out my nose real bad. Not to mention the balance in my checkbook! Ack!

Enjoy your 70, gal! Big hugs xo

Cara Sandy!

glad that you have friends there.
I also wait for the good season, Today I checked in my small garden if the violas were about to bloom, but I did not find any bud!
Have a great evening!!!

Ciao!

It's almost midnight here now and has started snowing outside - again. They're only predicting a couple of inches but then again, they were predicting a lot of snow last week and we got a little so I'm afraid this week may be the reverse. I'm thinking there will be NO picture hunting on this batch of days off ... sigh!

Stay warm down there!!
