Missy finds great joy in playing with the screen on the windshield, in between sunbathing. She is now in Florida and appears to want to work on her tan, and doing it inside a balmy moho is ideal for her during this cold spell. She is one smart girl that Missy.
We are back from a run to the local Sam's Club to see what there is to see and to pick up beer. You do remember that Mayberry is dry, don't you? That means that folks drink wet and vote DRY...and we get the trash and not the sales tax. Plain dumb.
So that is our big outting for the day. I still need to put a few things away and clean up a bit. I'm trying to pace myself.
Temps are supposed to be down in the high 30s tonight, so it will be a crock pot soup night.
Stay warm. Life is good!

Missy's got it... I'm doing that, too! I'm perched at the front dinette with the sunshine peeking in. Also have the portable heater on. Figured a new point of view was in order.
Missy is a smart one for sure. It's cold here too, but not in the 30s. I hope it warms up for you real soon.
I didn't know Mayberry was a dry county. I remember being somewhere in Utah and went to dinner with hubby and asked for a glass of Merlot. The waitress said, what? Made me chuckle. You could buy beer and wine in the grocery store and that was it. Whatever.
Have a terrific day and the soup sound really, really good. Big hugs from cold California to cold Florida. :)
I'm beginning to think that it's cold everywhere! Ah well, nice that we in Connecticut choose to share our winter climes with the rest of the country, eh?!?
A crockpot night sounds good - perhaps I will do the same tomorrow when I get a day off!
WHat a cutie! Wishing you a happy New year
she's a smart kitty for sure! see you soon, let you know later in the week when...

Missy is the only on working on their tan, send this crap back to podunk....
Missy is my kind of gal! Wishin' I was with you guys!
Way to go, Missy!
Glad you're getting all your chores done. Soup sounds good. The girls had fun playing "Titanic" this afternoon: throwing rocks on the ice in our cove to see if any would sink. I'm not sure when we'll get above freezing again!
Oh, to live the life of a well-loved car!
I remember one of the weekends exploring areas in Georgia, we decided to stay an extra night at the hotel in Americus. It was then that I discovered that no alcohol was sold on Sunday. Even in restaurants- which also were not open on Sundays.
Big hugs xo
