What's for dinner?

The young couple invited their elderly pastor for Sunday dinner. While they were in the kitchen preparing the meal, the minister asked their son what they were having.
"Goat," the little boy replied.

"Goat?" replied the startled man of the cloth, "Are you sure about that?"

"Yep," said the youngster. "I heard Dad say to Mom, 'Today is just as good as any to have that old goat for dinner."

Lord, keep Your arm around my shoulder and Your hand over my mouth.

Happy Tuesday, y'all! What's cooking?

Bwahahahahaha. Kids can spill the beans like no bodies business. I love it.

That's funny. Not sure what's dinner. Haven't gotten that far yet. Not real motivated to do much.

Sounds like Dad was having old goat served up with a big ole' side of foot-in-mouth!

Amanda and I went to the Cracker Barrel over in Rhode Island for dinner this evening and I thoroughly enjoyed my pot roast and mashed potatoes. It didn't hurt that they have a nice cozy fire going!
