Friday the 13th...

And all is well in the GA Alps. No superstitions to be concerned about in this No Worry Zone.

Check out this view looking next door. This was two weeks ago, and it is now pretty much bare of leaves...actually ON the trees. They are now on the ground...where they'll stay.
With all the rain Ida brought us, the water rushing into the lake was singing loudly yesterday and making its presence known as it began its long journey toward the Gulf. Miss Ida has not been a genteel lady to residents up the coast, however.

Today is the monthly birthday celebration lunch with my BSP sistas, and I am one of the four honorees. My lone December birthday will be combined today with the November celebrants. That's fine with me to begin celebrating early. Heck, any excuse to have lunch with friends is a great idea! Let the good times roll...

Enjoy your Friday. The sun is now shining. Life is good!

Yes, Miss Joy, your beautiful green glass angel candle holders kicked off the birthday/Christmas season early.

And sista Debby showered me with early gifts at our meeting Tuesday night. I am BLESSED!

I want to come to your house and look at all the beauty that surrounds you. Awesome. I'll bet it's still beautiful with all the leaves gone.

Have fun at the birthday bash. Having lunch and enjoying each others company is what life is all about.

Have a terrific day and weekend. Big hug. :)

We got some light rain here, maybe an inch, from Ida. Much to my Dad's chagrin, there are still leaves and pecans on our trees. This is about the time he gets sick of them! Poor fella. It's the last time though, as the 2 acres at the Swamp has 42 Tall Georgia Pines and some Cypress.

Happy early Birthday! Have fun at your luncheon!

Big Hugs ♥xo

We're getting the remnants of Ida here tomorrow though today was nothing to get excited about outside either! Dark, cold, windy ... not exactly New England at its best but apparently a lot better than tomorrow promises to be!

Hope you had a lovely early birthday lunch - any time you can get together with friends is a real gift!
