Thursday in paradise

P1000950

Missy is sooo busted.  This is a big NO-NO.  Look at that—she has her OWN bed in the window, and a chair for a ladder to get there.  Sheesh.  She thought no one was looking.

So, Dick has planted two small palm trees already; has gone to the box store for paint, and is now working on the oil cooler.  I’ve read/commented on all the blogs in my reader, dusted, cleaned up the kitchen, started laundry, and gotten Jennie checked in at the park office (Mike and Jennie arrived yesterday).  What do I have to actually SHOW for all that?  Hmmm, isn’t that the way it is…busy, and nothing to show for it, like a tree in the ground?  Or those pavers set in concrete?  Maybe clean laundry will count for something.

Oh, good news!  Mr. FedEx just now brought me a lovely package of beads, so I think I shall go play.  That’s a very good plan.

Enjoy your Thursday.  Mine just got REAL good!

Missy goes where she wants to go. You can tell her NO all you want, but when you aren't looking she'll do what she wants. Remember, she is the owner not you two.

Have fun with your beads honey and having the laundry done counts big time. Big hugs. :)

Oh Missy!!!
I like her quite peaceful rest on your table...perhaps try to get into her bed, so she'll understand!!!
I love her white feet, her bright hair!
Have a funny play with the beads!!!
Big hugs!!!

I can't wait to see your creations! Tell Jennie and Mike hello ~ maybe they will remember me from the UCADC meeting in December. I only dream of palm trees and warm temps!

I am constantly tossing them off of the table and countertops and.... NO is not part of a cat's vocabulary.

Have fun beading! I know you will. Big hugs :]

I remember my mother-in-law's face when she walked into my kitchen and one of our cats was lounging on the counter. YIKES! And I stood there trying to reassure her that the cat wasn't supposed to be on the counter. Right...
I had a palate of oils laid on the counter while I was painting. Next morning, I awoke to little cat paws in crimson and cadmium blue all over the place! Getting it off her feet was a chore. And I was terrible worried about her health. Turned out okay - the painting did suck, though.
~~~Blessings~~~
