Splendide is not so splendid!

IMGP9003

This puppy is officially dead.  Kaput.  Good for parts only.  And of course, it had to die on a load of towels.  Dick was able to manually get the machine to spin and get rid of the water, and get the door unlocked and opened to remove the contents.  This was last night’s news.  Sigh.

As much as I hate using public machines, I now have two loads going in the park’s facilities.   Dick has found a possible replacement online in a town near Mayberry.   Woohoo!!!

The fun just keeps on going.

Hopefully this will be our only major malfunction this year.

So this morning we four (Mike and Jennie) went to Costco and looked around.  Jennie is making lamb chops tonight for us, and I’ll fix some veggies.  We have had fun combining our talents and stuff.  And it is warm enough now to eat outside without the patio heater on.  At least there is no snow anywhere in this state and the warmer temps are coming back, unlike Mayberry where there is snow/ice on the ground and schools are still closed.

Stay warm.  Life is GOOD, y’all!

Ugh. I feel your washer pain. You're not going to believe this, but my washer seems to have developed a leak. The fun just never ends around here!

I'm not much for lamb, but I'm sure you won't let that stop you from enjoying yours! :D

Big hugs from chilly, but we don't have any snow, Jawjah! :]

I hate it when things give up the ghost. We have the refrigerator on our boat that either needs to be rebuilt or replaced. Thank goodness we have two. We are waiting on our mechanic on the best option. It's always something indeed.

Have a terrific dinner tonight. Sounds like a lot of fun to me. Sharing the workload is a very good thing.

Have a terrific day. Big hugs from cold California. :)

oh poo!

I'm sure lamb and a good bottle of red will temper the washer disappointment.

Enjoy your dinner tonight!

Of course it died on a load of towels, I think that's another of Murphy's unwritten laws! The closest replacement is in Mayberry? Yowza, too bad it didn't die while y'all were still up that way!

We've got more than enough snow up here in Connecticut to go 'round so if you decide you want some, let me know and I'll see if I can send some down your way!

Since it's so warm, you can just hang your laundry to dry. :) It got up to 38 today so things have melted a little. Our driveway has refrozen though, and it is SLICK.

Oh, dear. Is this the same one that gave you so much trouble last trip? (or was that the dryer?) Maybe the next visitors to Paradise can bring down the replacement. :-)
