One man’s trash…

…is another man’s treasure, especially if his name is Sanford, um, Dick (remember Sanford and Son on TV?)   Amy and I often refer to our guys as Sanford and Son-in-law!

storage shed

Dick saw this little number stacked up in a neighbor’s trash pile when we were bike riding the other day, so he went back in the car and brought it home.  It is a Rubbermaid storage unit that only had a slight dent in the top where a tree limb creased it.  A couple of blocks straightened that puppy right out; he has hosed it out real well; now it is draining and drying.  Good as new.

Former neighbor Al and his new lady stopped by for a visit this morning.  The sun is shining; the palms are gently swaying.

Hello Monday.  It’s just another day in paradise, y’all!

Ciao Sandy!!!
Dick has a technic eye and can handle everything!!!
No fear... he can live everywhere, also in the desert!
You are a lucky girl!!!
Enjoy your sejour in Florida, I imagine your walks and bike riding in the mild sunny days!

Now that is a good find. My hubby would have done the same. In fact he does it all the time. Especially if it is broken weed whackers, lawnmower, or car parts.

It's good to have a handy man in the family ... quite handy actually! My Dad would have done the same thing - why throw away a perfectly good storage shed??
