Daylight savings time explained…and other stuff…

DST

Baby, it’s cold outside!  And we had sleet here in the No. GA Alps yesterday, while some also found Dick in Atlanta.  What’s up with that already???  And it is anticipated that we’ll get down to 28 in the morning.  Yikes…I am not ready for winter.  No sirree.  I don’t want to see Old Man Winter until maybe, December 1.  That is soon enough for my blood, I can tell you.

BFF Joan and I had a good time doing some retail therapy yesterday.  We each found stuff we needed (Christmas gifts), and stuff we wanted (I bought just a few beads)…wait, those beads can be filed under Christmas gifts, come to think of it!  Or maybe birthday gifts.  Anyway, we also got just normal stuff that are always needed for a household.  Speaking of, I need to work on my list and go to the grocery store.

Dinner with friends tonight, then some grand kids here for an overnight visit.  Love it!

Life is good!  Don’t forget to ‘fall back’ tonight, y’all.

Love the Indian's logic. It's so right!

I hate DST, because now I'll be waking up at 1:30 instead of 2:30. It use to be 3:30. I don't know what happened there.

Stay warm! Snuggle up in front of a cozy fire with a nice glass of wine! Big hugs :]

Yesterday's sleet was CrAzY! We haven't even had a frost yet. This morning, we got big sis delivered to the bus for an overnight 4-H trip, so little sis and I are cleaning house (with plans for some fun later).

I'm wearing shorts and flip flops. The high today is in the low 70s. It drops into the high 60s tomorrow. Weird weather indeed. I don't like winter at all. Never have.

Glad you got some shopping therapy into your schedule. It makes most of us smile.

Have a terrific day and stay warm. Big hugs from crazy, sunny California. :)

Some dang fool is predicting the possibility of snow here tonight and it's not even close to Thanksgiving yet! Seriously?? I may end up having to shovel the rest of the leaves I haven't had a chance to bag up yet!

DST is great if you don't remember that you have an extra hour and stay up until 4:30 in the morning editing pictures ... just sayin'!

We seem to be ahead of you in the weather department. Coats and gloves have been out most of last week. We do plan to come down it we can work out our calendars. Between football, basketball, church and just plain stuff - there is never enough time. I thought retirement meant rest and relaxation -- ho, ho, ho!
