So long, summer!

IMGP7657

Summer is officially ovah and gone when MM takes the jet ski out of the water.  It is now out and put away…and the water in our cove is slowing being drawn down for the winter anyway, so boating will be a thing of the past before too long.  It happens every year with the calendar change.  Holy moley…October is staring real hard at us!

At least we got some much-needed rain last night.  It was good sleeping weather.

So today will be busy with the luncheon and the usual getting ready before hand, clean-up afterward…then see the PT guy afterward.  My hip is a bit better after being forced by the PT guy to learn how NOT to sleep on that side.  Sheesh.  It is possible to re-train yourself, with enough incentive.

That’s life in a small town.  Excitement.  We has it!  Who wants to join all the fun?

Hope your luncheon is a huge success. I am sure it will be.

Your storing of the jetski, is like our deflating of the kiddie pool. :( Megan still asks each day where it is.

It's a rainy fall day here today. And I actually enjoy it.

Hope you have a great day!

Raining here, too, for much of today. I almost always sleep on my left side. It's usually not a problem in my own Sealy Posturpedic bed... but anywhere else? So much problem. Much tossing and turning and Aleve. I never getting old hurt so much. Makes me ashamed that I never realized how much my Nana was hurting while she knit us all those many hats, mittens and scarves... and how badly we cared for them. srsly. I wish I had just one set now.

Have a lovely fall day! I'm gonna try! big hugs xoxo

Have a fun luncheon. I'm sure all will go well. October is just days away... I'm with you -- "where has this month gone?"

This year is going as fast as a runaway truck.

It was indeed a good sleeping night, just hard to get up this morning! Fall is on the way for sure. Hope the luncheon goes well, I'm sure it will with you and Joan in charge. Stay dry! (if possible!)

Have a blast at the luncheon. I know you will.

We've still got through October before it starts getting cold and ugly. We can boat year round though so that's nice.

Have a terrific day honey and I would sure love to come for a visit. Big hugs. I love small towns. :)

It's sad to me to see summer leave, although I do enjoy fall too. How was the luncheon?
