Jay time

John G tee

We are meeting “the Jays” at our fave place today, but for lunch.  Terry and Lyn have NEVER eaten lunch there, so we are fixing that gastronomic lack.  Our families go waay back, so we’ll have lots to talk about…and I just remembered to grab a couple of photos of the chitlins to take to show them.  I promise to TRY to remember to get my camera out during all the talking and laughing and eating.  Really.  I’ll try.

Between rain showers we rode our bikes yesterday, and I also got some beading done.  I took a project out on the patio to sit and watch TV with MM, but discovered that when a bead drops out there, it is GONE.  More beading (inside) today, since the table is littered with projects.

Johnnie, Susan and Christine came over for our modified St. Pat’s dinner Saturday night.  The company was a hit, but the crockpot beef stroganoff--I won’t be posting that recipe, thankyouverymuch.  It was a miss.  Live and learn.  Delete.  Gone.  Never to be repeated.

Life is all about trial and error.  And it’s all good, despite an occasional bump in the road.

Put a smile on your face and have a great Monday.  We will sure be doing both!

I hate it when a recipe fails. I'll be trying a new one this week. I'm hoping it good.

Enjoy your day. You need a bead drop cloth.

I was hoping that Empress Bee would join you. Oh well. I sure wish I was closer because we would show up and enjoy your company.

Sorry your dinner didn't turn out the way you wanted. It sure sounded good and it's one of my favorite dinners too. Oh well.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs to you both and lots of scritches to the babies. :)

Logan says that I am very brave because I like to try new recipes. Since my latest FLOP (honey lime chicken enchiladas that were awful), I haven't ventured into new territory. Oldies but goodies for us for now.

Do post deets of your visit with the Jays. Hope you got some good pictures!
