Goodbye, WPB!

Schefflera hair cut

We shall see in January just how much this tree has grown after its recent “hair cut.”  Enjoy the sunshine and freedom, old tree!  We do appreciate your shade.

MM saw the eye doc yesterday and got really good news:  his fixed eye now has 20/20 vision.  What a blessing!  He is delighted with how well he can see with it.

Yes, Haley, Dad had Both Mushroom Chicken.  It is definitely still on the menu at Shangri-La, and is still tasty.   Key limes?  We’ll see what we can find for the birthday gal.

So today finds us on the road again, heading to Albany.  Why, you ask?  Well, two reasons:  dinner with my sister Nan, and an appointment with the knee doc in the morning….a twofer.

Guess which event will be more fun?!

Lots of miles and smiles today for us.  I hope you at least have some smiles.

On the road again...

YAY for a great surgical result! I can't wait for the day medicare will pay for eye surgery. My vision is so poor that I *almost* did the clear lens implant several years ago... at my own expense of nearly $9K. Basically, it's the same surgery, only my lenses aren't opaque like cataract... they just don't focus anywhere near about right. Bugger.

Enjoy your SisterDear visit! And safe travels! Home soon! Big hugs xoxo

Yay for 20/20! I know that makes for better flying, too!

Hope the knee appointment goes well.

Heading home. It's a good time to do so. It's going to get really hot in Florida. Too hot.

Have a safe trip home and enjoy your sister. I know that will be more fun than the doctors visit. Big hugs honey. :)
