Chilly Monday

ibis

These recent backyard visitors won’t be doing much flying today with all our wind.  Sheesh.  And it is 53 (I know, I know—Mayberry is expecting snow flurries, which is why we are still NOT there).  MM will have to don jeans today, instead of shorts.  Poor baby.

Actually, MM has to go back to the eye doc this morning to finalize stuff for his cataract surgery before we go back.  Bugger.  We’ll get him patched up and good to go for awhile longer.

The Golden Years merely means that it takes a pot of gold to keep us going!  And so it does, and so we will…keep going.

Life isn't about how you survived the storm...
it's about how you danced in the rain!
So Dance!

Have a peachy Monday, y’all!

My Dad kicked his own butt for not having his cataract surgery years sooner! He'd forgotten what it was to see clearly.

Love you Pot of Golden Years theory! haHAHAHA!

Big hugs from 'Why is it still chilly here?' south jawjah! xoxo

Luckily the snow flurries did not happen, or if they did they melted before I got up! But it's cool and windy, now, with pretty sunshine. Enjoy your day the best you can. Hugs!

Chilly, unstable weather here...the old "convergence zone" at play.

Why didn't I want to get out of bed this morning? It was soooo comfortable!

We've got sunshine and cold temps up here today with predicted lows tonight in the teens but after that it's going to gradually warm and we're predicted to have spring-like temps by the end of the week. Woohoo, I'll take 'em! Anytime I don't have to wear a bulky coat to go outside is a good 'un!

Sorry to hear that MM has to endure the hardship of jeans instead of shorts today but I guess we all have to face some adversity once in awhile, huh? ;-D Hope all goes well at his appointment and he's soon on his way to clearer vision!

I've had one eye done and waiting for the other eye to get ripe. It's an easy surgery and wow can you see once that patch comes off. It's awesome. Take about 10 minutes but the prep takes hours.

Have a terrific day honey and stay warm. Big hugs. :)

Ciao Sandy!

It's raining here too, yesterday about 20°C, today windy and much cooler!

I've to see the eye doc for my cataract too, the second also begins....the age brings these things!!!

Have a great week!

big hugs!

Good luck finding that pot of gold! Let us know what the dr. said/when the surgery is scheduled.
