Where's our snow?

Snow was promised.  There is no snow.  Not here in the valley, that is.  I am sure the mountains are all beautiful and frosted over (this is an old photo), since we had rain during the night...but it is ABOVE freezing here on the lake, therefore, no snow.  Yet.  It's coming, so we are warned, and the skies are definitely looking snow laden.

One of the local churches is presenting their Christmas Contata tonight, so I'd like the weather to cooperate so I can attend.

I have made a little Christmas prep progress--a couple of gifts made, packages mailed, Christmas cards almost finished...now I need to find my list and check it twice.  Time is running out!  There is still much to do...where has the time gone???

Stay warm.  Enjoy your Sunday, y'all!

We had snow, but there is a big wind/rain storm coming today, so the snow should be all gone by tomorrow. We still MIGHT have a white Christmas, this is Maine after all.

The lake has almost defrosted (except for parts of our cove) just in time for a hard freeze this week! I am hoping for no snow. I don't want to have to make up school days in the spring.

It's warmer than usual here too. That's a good thing. I don't like snow country. It's beautiful, but I don't want to live in snow country. I'd be in Florida with Empress Bee.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)

Does it smell like snow? That's always a sure sign no matter what the forecasters are saying!

Enjoy the cantata, I love going to those when I get the chance!
