Computer woes...

Sorry I haven't done much blog visiting. My comptuer decided to take a vacation of its own, something about some software on it not talking to each other, so I was computerless the whole time we were down in St. Augustine. That was awful! It goes to the fix-it place this very morning, so I am praying for a resurrection. I know Miss Bee sez to get a Mac, but none of my programs will work on a Mac and I sure don't want to re-purchase any of them!

This meant that after we returned home yesterday (smooth flight back), I had to fire up the old desktop that was so out of date, and get it to where I could get a wee bit of work done. While I was on that update roll, I added myself as a user on Dick's computer, just in case I ever need to borrow (take over) his.

Keep your fingers crossed for me, OK? It'll help make me feel better.

Yup. I want a MAC. As soon as I find decent (read inexpensive but reliable) accounting and office software I'll be all over that. I just bought my primary computer last fall when they released Windows 7 so I have to use this one until I get my money's worth, right? Or my frustration's worth?

My fingers are crossed for you and your 'puter! Big hugs xo

don't know what else to say, right now sarge's new laptop is down. i told him the same thing. plus you can install windows on a mac, although i have no idea why anyone would want to. have you looked at the mac software? there is quite a bit of it in the apple store.

good luck honey.

smiles, bee

I just hate computer problems. I'm sorry your computer has to go to the computer hospital. Hope things get sorted out soon.

Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)

I hate those times. Gosh, it makes me think of what we did before internet and email... I seriously can't remember!

I feel like Lois! How did we ever entertain ourselves? I still make time to read - I've always done that - but long distance was expensive, but I was a big letter writer.
I had a big Mac at work several years ago and loved it. It was so much easier to use than Windows, but I'm stuck with an windows XP for now.
I love your plane! It's really sleek and cute. I have never cared for flying but am determined not to be kept from my destination. Funny, but I always wanted to learn to fly. Maybe it's a control issue!
