Hey, shy birthday boy! This one loves to ‘hide’ under his hat…and play with anything on wheels or tracks. He particularly loved this little yellow number…
Last night, the family gathered for a more relaxed celebration than the kiddie one earlier in the day. Big kid Grumps had fun helping Doodlebug with the balloon pump. After filling these skinny balloons with air, they got released and flew around the room, squeaking while bumping into everything. A good time was had by all!
Lake house update: the lady had to postpone her visit. Rats.
So today Dick has gone out to mow already, and hopefully not aggravate his back. And Joy and I are going on a road trip to a concert tonight. We’ll have a toe-tappin’ good time for sure!

I haven't been to a concert in ages! When I lived in Florida I went to about 2 a month. Living in Hicksville has its advantages, but there are definitely some things that I miss.
I think I would like those balloons as much as Doodlebug!

Last night was so fun! It was nice to come home to a home-cooked meal (that I didn't cook! LOL), and the company was superbe.

It looks like everyone in your family had a great time at the birthday celebration. The banana pudding you made is a wonderful dessert and gift to share with everyone. Since I make cakes for many birthdays, I enjoy having a non-traditional dessert for my birthday, such as pie (I think banana pudding will go on the list now). The pudding looked fantastic and very delicious.
