The view

This is a wee sample of what we saw yesterday as we drove a loop N of Taos and around the mountains enjoying about 150 miles of beautiful scenery, including one deer in velvet munching lunch beside the road. We stopped at Sipapu Ski Resort for our own lunch.

We are heading to Champa today, but possibly no train ride. Some idiot decided to burn a very necessary, old bridge. This is devasting to their economy when the train stops running!

Enjoy your day, y'all!

Have fun.

Are you two going on the bloggers cruise? Barb is rounded all us bloggers up for the cruise. We are thinking very seriously about it. Lois is going if we go. Looks like Linda is rooming with Barb. Sarge Charlie and Empress Bee are thinking about it. It would be pretty complete if you two were in the mix.

Have a terrific day and weekend. Big hug. :)

Sounds like you and Dick are having a blast! Sorry to hear no train ride. I love trains.

WooHoo on working everyone up to go on the blogging cruise? Yay me! hahahaha!

Don't you hate stupid people? As Bill Engvol (sp?) says, "They should have to wear a sign that says 'I'm stupid'!" What a shame for everyone.

I'm sure you'll find plenty of entertainment regardless. When are you going to use the canoe?

It's been many, many years since I lived in New Mexico but I always thought it was a beautiful state, especially up in the Taos area.

It's a shame about the bridge, why would would someone do that sort of thing? Well, other than suffering from colossal stupidity that is!

I'm trying to work out the details of being able to go on the BC4 - I think I might be able to swing it and how could I pass up being in the company of such a distinguished and wonderful group of people? It would be lovely to be able to spend more time with you outside of hotel lobby!
