Despite having to take refuge from the rain in an empty boat house, we had a brief pontoon ride and a good time with friends yesterday. There was a variety of GREAT food and abundant laughter...and not one photo to prove it. Dang.
I was plumb tired and in the bed early last night. Like Missy is doing, a nap would be welcome later on today...but probably won't happen.
Yesterday's missing sun is trying to peek out this morning. Hello, Sun. Don't be shy!

Sorry about the rain, but a brief pontoon ride is better than no pontoon ride!
Sometimes so much fun is had at our family gatherings that nobody remembers to take photos.

The boat ride was fun, even with a little rain! And the food was indeed delicious. I told Dick to tell you to take a picture of Joan's red/white/blue dessert, it would have looked great on your blog! But it surely tasted great anyway. Rest and relax today... as much as you can, anyway.
Joy, actually that was the ONLY photo I took, and I figured I'd wait for Joan to give me the recipe and post both then. I had good intentions to take more photos, but just got too busy...
What Barb said about the pontoon ride. I'd have been on that pontoon boat in a heartbeat, but you already know that.
