Annie Moses Band rocks the house!

This band rocks! Absolutely, positively multi-talented, two-generation family, missing their youngest guitar player last night, out with a broken arm. That happens to 12 year olds! On stage were two keyboards, piano, cello, viola, mandolins, guitars (and a fill-in guitarist), violins, and an incredible harp! Oh yes, and drums and a drummer (non-family). Also on stage are the parents of these six talented kids on keyboard and back-up singing.

Trained in classical music, they play and sing a bit of everything. They are a delight to the ears and to the eyes. This is Joy getting an autograph from lead singer, violin-playing Annie, who is the oldest at 26. And this was Joy's third AMB concert! We will both go again.

Oh, and this gal is not THE Annie Moses. That Annie was her great grandmother, so all six of these performing kids are the fourth generation of singers/musicians. What a beautiful legacy that is!

Enjoy your Sunday...enjoy some music. Music is a good thing, y'all!

That sounds like my kinda of musical night! We love music in my family! I have one nephew who is a music teacher, and his brother is getting married in August to a wonderful gal who just happens to be a classically trained pianist, too! I can't wait for family music nights this coming August. It's always my favorite part of my visits!

Thanks for the prayers! I think I'm really going to need them today!

Big hugs xo

Hi Joy!

:-D)

I like concerts, just don't do crowds well. I would bet this band would be a treat, especially being multi-generational.

Happy Sunday!

Fourth generation musicians - how very cool! I wish my family had some sort of musical talent but alas, I can't carry a tune in a bucket!

Hope you had a wonderful Sunday down your way!

I only wish it was my 3rd AMB concert. Actually it was the 2nd - but I will go see them again at the next opportunity! (There was a viola player on the stage, too, by the way.) Thanks for going with me, Sandy - it was great.
