I had to leave about 3 dozen orchids behind when I moved to Georgia. They were quite happing hanging from the live oak trees, although I gave most of them to a friend who also raised orchids. My backyard is much too sunny for them, especially when the pecan trees drop their leaves... there would be NOWHERE fot them. It was very sad to say goodbye to them.

Yes, it is the orchid Bob/Lynne gave me in February! It still has blooms on it. I think it is happy here in Mayberry sitting on our deck railing!

My orchid from Mother's Day 2008 has a new leaf! Maybe it will bloom again one of these days. Yours is quite lovely.
