Day 16 - At sea - Check out a Stateroom

Little did I know when I set up this picture before we left home how true this message would be!
It was definitely NOT a good morning beginning early today on our sea day, but all is now well. We were awakened at 6:15 by the captain announcing that he was looking for Mr. X in room xxxx. This was followed by yet another announcement 15 minutes later, and yet another 30 minutes later, stating that we had turned around and the crew was conducting a room-by-room search. Apparently this idiot went missing at 4a, and has now just been found. The ship is in the process of doing another 180 to get us in the correct direction toward Iceland, recalculating time/distance/speed to meet our docking time. Certainly not a good way to begin any day, but this will hopefully be a good drill for crew training. At least there is better visibility now than we had yesterday, but it would be doubtful anyone could survive long in this cold water, had he actually fallen overboard. Mrs. X may make Mr. X wish he had gone swimming! Bugger...he’s got lots of ‘splaining to do!!!
Hello from the Crow’s Nest...we’ve been awake long enough now that it is time to go eat breakfast and begin to enjoy our sea day. Sarge, the magician was definitely a funny guy, and I’ll bet MagicMatt can learn his rope tricks, if he doesn’t know how to already. He popped the rope and tied knots in it; cut it, tied it back together, moved the knot, and wound up with a whole rope again. We entertain easily, you can see. Tonight is formal night (yippy skippy); there is a variety show, with each of the previous entertainers doing a mini-routine. In the meantime, we’ll be reading, eating, going to digital class, and did I mention reading? Hope everyone has a fun day. Y’all leave me a comment and tell me what’s going on...I love hearing from you, even you lurkers. Come on, leave me a comment.......it’s easy.....! By the way, this does look like our stateroom, however ours is actually reversed. Nice, huh?

So sad you were woken up at 6:15. Will woke me up at 5:15 on the dot......for the 3rd day in a row. I guess his record for sleeping through the night is broken. Cheers!

Glad that guy was okay...That's a really pretty stateroom. Understated, not garish.

Have fun in the crow's nest. I love those quiet cozy spots.

Looks like a lovely room, even reversed! I'm glad you didn't lose a passenger, even though he caused some inconvenience. Take a nap!
Hugs!

Hi Travelling Bells; I was on the Bloggers cruise last January. I think I found your blog through Empress Bee.
Andre and I are on the Eurodam September 1 - New York to Quebec City. We don't arrive in NYC until August 29 in the evening so will miss your arrival. I have really enjoyed your trip except maybe your early morning today!
Make sure you leave the ship in top shape for us!!

Nice state room. Mr X needs to walk the plank.

I think Mr. X is in big trouble from everyone on the ship, not just Mrs. X. What a putz.

I love your stateroom. It's awesome. Enjoy every minute honey. Big hug. :)

Hey, Matt and I are looking to go on a cruise next month. Probably 4-5 days through the Caribbean. Any suggestions would be nice, maybe Bee can tell where two bachelors should go?!? Would love to leave from Canaveral, instead of Miami, but either is fine. Glad you guys are enjoying the cruise, and dad wasn't 'Mr. X'. He would be 'X', but spelled -Ex, if found alive!!!

I'll be thinking of you in the morning when my alarm goes off at 5:45 like it does EVERY school day that we have kids! All 180 of them. Glad Mr. X was found though and that it wasn't anything really serious. (Brian, you spelled it out very well for Mom indeed!)

Pretty stateroom. Small but nicely done. Elegant/clean/good colors...

Why would they be looking room-to-room for him if they thought he fell overboard ? Odd.

Funny story (but not too funny for Mr X I'd guess!). Wow you do great at sharing your trip. Thanks and keep up the good work!
