Maytag Man and I took Haley up to the panhandle of Florida from the West Palm area so that she could meet my Mom and Don(maybe for the first time—I can’t remember for sure). Haley was five months old, and what I remember most about this trip was the a/c going out in their house. It was hot as only HOT can be in Florida in August. Everyone was miserable. Everyone! We probably headed home early…just so that we could cool off!
It is COLD back in Mayberry this morning, officially around 4 or 5 freezing degrees. And that, sweet Peaches, is why we are not there, but are sitting our happy selves down here in balmy 59 WPB. MM went from shorts yesterday to flannel this morning, and that is still OK.
I have a crockpot full of potato soup cooking out on the patio already, and an afternoon appointment with the ENT. Hopefully I will find out why my jaw still won’t open completely. It certainly makes eating a challenge, but I’ve managed. On the scale of things, this is preferable to the flu or many other things that could go wrong, that is for sure. And for that, I am thankful.
Have yourselves a ginger peachy Thursday, and stay warm!

I was in Texas once in September and at an event that didn't have air. I don't want to even think about how big my ankles were. Awful.
It's cold here too, but we're heading to the boat and an cruise this weekend. Not that cold, but cold nonetheless.
I'm sorry your jaw isn't working right. I would have thought by now you'd be pretty much healed. Bugger on that.
Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and tons of scritches to the babies. ♥♥♥
Yum. Potato soup! Hope you ugys warm up. This unseasnable cold should not be the new norm. Boo!
Take care of your jaw. Hope the ENT figures it out.
Cute picture! ;) Let us know what the ENT said.
You sure have a mighty cute figure for just having had a baby! My mother did that 8 times. Still boggles my mind as my love affair with food and I battle the bulge daily.
I vividly remember Tampa and the looooong summers of '75 and '76... Brutal!! Our first house did not initially have central heat and air. And that, Peaches, was the very last house I will ever have without central heat and air. And that's all I know about that.
I sure hope the doc gets your jaw sorted soon. Stay warm and enjoy that soup!
big hugs xoxo
