Sergio and Diane, Joan/Dan’s next door neighbors from long ago in WPB…friend Maureen in Mayberry knows them! Small world indeed.
Any yard party, birthday or otherwise, always involved a few volleyball games. As a matter of fact, it was routine to have volleyball/potluck dinners at least once a month during the summer months. It was great family fun and everyone, literally, was welcome to join us. Good memories.
Factoid: Joan met Dan at one of our parties…and look what happened! He is the birthday boy from Monday, still hanging around. And apparently so is my hairdo!

Wow! That IS Joan! I would not have known her, with the sunglasses and the different hair color, but I made the pictures bigger and recognized her smile. :-) And you're right, that's pretty much your haircut - and it looked good then and looks good now. Great pictures.
