The countdown begins until MM and I see this beautiful sight for Blogger’s Cruise 8:
We are super excited, except for the fact that our favorite Empress won’t be joining us. Bugger to that.
Chef Vickie invited us and the Tieches down to Delray for dinner with her, Bill, and his brother Bob. We enjoyed seeing their “new” condo overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway, and all was going well until all the lights suddenly went out a little after 9. I said that we got the hint—it was time for us to go home! It was a major transformer that blew somewhere, because all the docked boats and other condos on their side of the waterway went dark as well. We left, grateful for another great dinner and visit with long-time friends. The gals reminisced about water skiing together…40 something years ago! I think we were 12 at that time…haha.
There’s not much going on around here today. It is sunny, windy and mid-60s, so I’m thinking that I’ll wash sheets and dry them outside in the sunshine. I love that fresh smell. Excitement…we haz it!
Life is just one adventure after another here in paradise, y’all!

And where are the pictures from last night?!?
I hate it when a transformer goes. Takes a bit to replace that. I'm glad you got through dinner though.
Okay on your upcoming cruise.
Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and tons of scritches to the babies. :)
I just checked yesterday... they still have balcony cabins available for the bloggers cruise. Tempting...
It's not even 50 here yet. brrrr... hating this winter, for sure.
Love fresh sheets on the bed, although I have not line-dried anything in decades.
big hugs xoxo
Sounds like a fun evening -until the lights went out. Good times with good friends, what could be better? Oh, yes, good times with friends on a cruise ship! Enjoy!
But when the lights go out is when the party really begins to turn wild. Maybe I've seen too many disco movies :)
