Saturday in Mayberry

Every time I got up from my chair yesterday, this is what I found:

And when I would sit to work, KC wanted lap time and head rubs:

He finally decided he had no choice but to warm dad's chair:

All this, and he should have been outside in the great weather, doing something worthwhile, like Alex:

See those pesky vines? They have now been clipped. And I am sporting a bandage in my R thumb. Ouch-a!

MM is out mowing again today on his paying job. This will continue for about 3 more weeks--big job! And I am heading over the mountain to a memorial service.

It is just another blessed day in paradise, where life is good!

Mother Nature is persistent in trying to reclaim what is hers. We try not to mess too much with the Swamp and just enjoy the (mostly) natural beauty of it.

Those pesky kitties... they are about as persistent as Mother Nature! No joke!

Have a lovely day in Mayberry! big hugs xoxo

Cats what to be where they want to be period. Bless their hearts. We let them too.

I think the weeds have won at our house. We're not home enough to get them under control. Bugger.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs from sunny California. :)

Sounds like they might be blackberries. Those danged things try to come up through my side deck. But yes, other than a few thorns, life is good.
