Friday in Mayberry

Poor KC is longing to go outside...and so he did. The turkey.

As I was coming inside from the deck, he managed to squeeze between my leg and the door for a sneaky escape, but I was faster than he was and got him before he could made a clean exit off to the yard. He is putting his injured leg down! And his fever seems to be gone. Progress! Yay! But indoors he stays. For now. It's raining, so he doesn't need to go out and play anyway.

I am helping friend Maryan's daughter clean out Maryan's garage this morning. Her car got sold yesterday, so the STUFF needs to be cleared out ahead of the coming termite treatment. Round 1...of a few rounds of sorting and throwing away and giving away. That basement will be a MAJOR project...for another day.

Begin cleaning out your stuff now, people! I am...slowly.

Have yourselves a ginger peachy day, rain or shine!

funny you should say rain or shine, here one minute it is sunny and the next dark and rainy... over and over.

KC you stay inside and heal up. That's an order from all of us. Silly boy.

Looks like you've a work day today. Well you do what needs doing.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs from hot California. ☺

We have sunshine! And I have a couple wascally wabbits here, too. Glad you snagged him, for his own good!

I am on a mission to cull, cull, cull. The next time I move, which should be my last move for retirement, I'm planning to take just me, my clothes, computers, pictures and cats. And now I've amended my list to also include my awesome blender! hahaha!

I can't get my mother to part with anything. bugger. I've moved them twice now. WAY too much crap. Which wouldn't be so bad if they actually needed it or used it. Some of it was still packed from the first move --- after 5 years!

Pace yourself. Cleaning out can be exhausting!

big hugs xoxo

Overcast today. Had a lovely breakfast with Joan and Dan. Will be dropping by later to pick up some fresh-caught fish. They are fun people!

Glad you snagged KC. No use in getting that leg infected again. And I'm glad to hear he's healing.

That silly boy! We had a fun day today with two silly boys. You are a dear friend to help clean out that garage.

I was just thinking what Haley said -you are a good friend to Maryan and her family, but I already knew that because you are a good friend to ME!
