Thursday in St. Maarten

After enjoying crab and avocado salad for lunch, we decided to eat local French here on the Dutch side, just down the road:

LeMoulin Fou...crazy windmill...had excellent French onion soup, escargots and bread. We were stuffed...a bit on the garlic side, but we all ate the same so we smelled the same and everybody was happy.

This place was only OK for lunch the other day, but the photo shows off local color and location here on Welfare Road:

Sunny and beautiful. J&J are already at the beach, MM decided to sit on the patio, which is where I am heading.

Life is laid back, mon. WYWH!

I was thinking Welfare Rd too.

I too like all that you had for lunch and I love lots of garlic. I'm just like Barb on that one.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)

Love some good french onion soup. I saw that windmill and I thought that y'all had visited an island version of the Moulin Rouge.

I've always kind of wanted to try escargot. I think I have strange tastes.
