Tawas Point Lighthouse

A replacement LH built in 1876 due to the ever shifting sands. A fourth order fresnel lens is still in use, powered now by electricity.

Hello Lake Huron. It is nice seeing you. Next up is lunch while we enjoy your beauty. Sunny and 73. Perfect.

Life is good, y'all!

Seventy-three? Wow, that's pretty cool. Better than the 103 that we're going to have on Independence Day. Oh well. Enjoy every minute honey as I know you both will.

Have a terrific lunch, day and Independence Day. Hugs. :)

I love that photo. The red roof, the white lighthouse and the blue skies makes for a simple yet lovely shot of Americana.

I wish it were in the 70s here. Just saying.

Enjoy! Big hugs xoxo
