Well, I am sad to say that Andy will not be the Tour winner this year, but I am happy for Aussie Cadel.
Brian actually got to meet Andy after the Tour de Georgia a few years ago. Brian and some of his friends were over at Brasstown Valley Resort after the race. Brian spied Andy and went over to him to congratulate him as an up and coming young rider, and he even bought Andy a beer…not that Andy would remember Brian, but Brian sure remembers him. And he knew that Andy was going to be an impressive cyclist in the future. Brian’s prediction was correct. He finishes second today…no small potatoes, and his brother Frank finishes in third place. I would say their parents are mighty proud of those young men!
We will be watching today…and next year as well! Good job.
Cheers, guys! Be safe…and enjoy your champagne.
Doodlebug at 4 has already ditched his training wheels, and Scooter is 3 and has worn out one set already…and wants his current training wheels taken off his bike!
Oh my! Where is this heading?!!!
Slow down, wee boys!

Grow up too fast... isn't that what all kids do?
I never had training wheels. Went right from a trike to a full-size bike. My Dad brought me out to the street on Christmas morning and taught me to ride it. I had to doge patches of ice and snowbanks... what a lovely, cool memory on this sultry morn!
Big hugs from sultry south jawjah, Sandy! xoxo
Go Scooter!
I was in Kindergarten when I shed my training wheels.... they are ahead of the curve.
Allez! Allez vite!
oh my, those wee boys will be out there soon!

How cool. I'm impressed.
As for your wee boys? They do grow up so very fast and if you aren't paying attention you miss the entire process. I know you're paying attention.
Have a terrific day. Big hugs from sunny California. :)
Ciao Sandy!!!
Our kids grow up so fast...mine too, we had lunch with them, it was a great day!
Have a lovely afternoon!
Hugs!!!
Yes, I first met him at the '05 Tour DAY Georgia, but this photo is from the '09 Tour of California. Either way, I've met the future Tour de France champion!
