My iPad2 arrived!

Woohoo!!!  I wasn't expecting this to arrive until today, but it came yesterday afternoon.  Needless to say, beading plans went out the window!

It got charged, updated...then info synced with the laptop.  I couldn't get it to find our hidden home network, so I still have a bit of work to do to get online with it.  Ah, the learning curve!

This is the 32 gig + wifi + 3G model, just in case you were wondering.  I decided to go ahead and get the 3G capability so that I wouldn't regret it later on.  There may be times I need to purchase a connection plan for a month or so, but I will try to just use the free wifi for now.  I still have lots to learn about it...

Does anyone have any spare patience???

WOOHOO!

My router is encrypted so I had to look up my username and 197 gazillion character password to enter into my iPad, then it just went to running.

Once you start using it, it will all become very intuitive... you'll see. Easy peasy pudding and pie.

Now go App shopping! :-)

Big hugs xoxo

Have fun with your new toy. I have trouble using a regular cell phone anymore. I pretty much dumped all technology (except for the computer) when I retired. I was so chained to it before that.

Have a terrific day. Big hugs. :)

"Spare patience"? I'm lucky if I have patience enough for myself never mind spare stuff!

I'm sure you'll catch right on, though, as you seem pretty smart and savvy to me. By the time I can afford to get one of those newfangled things maybe they'll be simpler to use. Or not!

Have fun - just stay away from Angry Birds, I hear it's a major time-suck!
