Monday’s move

P1020063

So today is refrigerator day.  Now how exciting is that?  We drive up to the fix-it place this morning, turn off and unload the fridge and freezer so that the repairman can safely replace the coolant thingy.  This particular brand of refrigerators has had problems catching on fire (not a good worry to have) because of whatever coolant thingy it is that comes installed in the unit.  MM is big on safety, so it was either replace the fridge or replace the problem, the latter being an easier solution.  Safety first!

Hopefully it will only take a few hours and we can be southbound by afternoon.  At least that is the plan.  We have a dinner date Tuesday night in Ohio that we want to make.  More on that later.

I had a “good time” at Michael’s yesterday.  Don’t tell MM!!!  This looks like a perfect summer necklace that I made for someone, don’t you think?  This little number needs to go on a cruise.  And so do I!  It is hard not to think about cruising when the temps hit 92!  Yikes…that is just too, too hot.

So goodbye horses and 4-H kids.  Today begins a new adventure, hopefully involving miles…and not sitting and waiting for fixing.

Happy Monday, y’all!

The necklace is gorgeous! I hope that the repair goes quickly so that you can be on the road. I'm sure you've got a book with you to bide the time. Today, the girls are going to 4-H half-day health camp (all week) and I'm going to continue to empty the downstairs bedroom for Miss M.

I agree with Haley, "that necklace is gorgeous" was my exact thought!
So glad you can get the "thingy" replaced, we do NOT want you to have a fire in the moho.
I'm tired of 90 degree temps, too. No surprise there, right? Sure do miss y'all - as do your plants. So far they are all still alive, however!
Safe travels...and hugs!

The necklace is beautiful indeed. Very well done.

I could go on a cruise right now, but I've got over six months to wait for our Hawaii cruise. Oh well.

I hope the refrigerator is fixed and you're on the road early this afternoon. Safety first though. I agree with that.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs to you both. :)

Was it the Dometic that was under recall? Some of the airstreams were built with those. Luckily our model was okay.

Hope the fix is good. If your trip is delayed, no problem... we understand.
