Moho deals and other stuff

MM hit the jackpot yesterday at the RV salvage place.  He had been pricing sunscreens for our HUGE windshield…about $450…ouch!  He found one for $55 that fits our coach and…AND…it also included covers for three windows, too!  Brand spanking new.  sunscreenHe, of course, had to try out the sunscreen…note the NO hat.  He knows better!

It needs to be properly installed, but he needs more tools for that…back home at the shop.  At least it is up temporarily, as it sure makes a huge temperature difference inside.

His other bargain was a ‘new’ doordoor gone to replace the one that flew off, also found at the same place.

A stop by the local big box store for paint; a little trying this and trying that, brought these results…….oops, photo taken in late afternoon light, but you get the idea.  It is still a door replacementwork in progress, but at least the door isn’t the glaring white that it originally was.

MM is quite the fix-it guy.  He needed to run back to the big box store, so I went along and did a little looking at Michael’s and learned that today is dollar day, so I’ll be heading back there…alone!

So I did get one beading project completed yesterday while MM was out in the hot sun working.  Hmm, didn’t take a photo of it, but I’ll get around to doing that.

We are enjoying watching the kids and horses here at the 4-H fairground (in addition to watching the Tour).  There aren’t any events going on, but it is still a fairly busy place.  And hot, hOT, HOT!  We are very happy to have 50 amps to run the A/C, with us sitting out here in the sun.  And we are happy to have Internet again!  Woohoo!!!

Just another great day in Indiana.  What’s happening in your corner of the world?

That MM is a peach! But he does need his hat, for sure.

Salvage Yards are gold mines! Diamonds in the rough for those who dare to poke around!

My auto repair guru here has acres and acres of salvage cars... I'll bet he's worth a small $ortune!

Enjoy another day of internet and IN. Big hugs xo

Yup, that *is* a bargain! And being in the land of RVs and finding workable parts is a triple bargain -- heck, that's priceless!

Life is GOOD! What bah-gains you found too! Tell Dad that the door looks great. I can't believe he didn't leave it white. See you soon!

I'm sitting on the back of our boat in the shade typing a comment to you. There are kids riding bicycles, boats coming and going and the ducks are begging for food. It's a beautiful day.

Dick is so very handy and he scored some great deals. I've no doubt he does that all the time. As for fixing things we all know how talented he is in that department too.

Have a terrific day honey. Stay cool. Big hugs to you both. :)
