Just a fishin’!

Kenai River fishing

And more importantly – catching!  Friends Dan and Joan have both been salmon fishing on the Kenai River in Alaska…and sending home salmon already.  I can envision a big fish dinner in the future!

She said that sometimes there are so many fisherfolk on the river that they are almost shoulder to shoulder.  I know they are enjoying the cool temps, along with the catching.

Thanks for the blog fodder, Joanie!  Wish we were there!!!  It will be 89 in paradise today.  But…

Life is good, y’all!

Sounds like Walleye fishing on Maumee river up in Toledo. Catching them left and right... Oh how I'd love to be with Joan and Dan catching salmon! That would be so much fun!

And salmon is sooooo yummy and good for you!

Hubby and I are already talking about our next cruise and Alaska was mentioned. You just never know. We want to do the Panama Canal too. So many choices. We're having salmon for dinner, but it won't be as good as they are catching.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs from hot California. :)

Logan got up early this AM to go fishing with neighbor Micah (who caught a mess yesterday), but of course no bites today! No fish for us for dinner.

Alaska in the summer has just got to be wonderful. I'll add it to the list and really keep my fingers crossed as that's one heck of a long drive!

Hope you had a lovely Thursday in spite of that higher temperature reading!
