Joy called me early yesterday with the very sad news of the sudden passing of our sister’s hubby. Herb had been in bad health, but he and Dianne had both been thoroughly enjoying their time in Tennessee. I hope that these fresh memories will carry Dianne through these next few days as she makes her way back home to bury her husband, and begins this sad venture into widowhood.
Life is fragile. None of us has a guarantee for a tomorrow, so live life fully, and remember to make each day special…and always give thanks for your blessings.
Dianne, all your sisters are holding you and your family in our hearts and prayers during the coming days.
Safe travels, my friend.

Oh, dear. This is what you were referring to in your comment yesterday. I'm so sorry honey. I pray your friend will feel the love of her hubby close to her for all the days of her life.
Big hugs xo
I'm so sorry honey, but your advice is right on the money. Great words to live by.
Super big hugs from warm and sunny California. :)
Sending prayers to your sister in need!
Sadly you're very right that life is fragile and we just never know when we've reached the end of our days.
Sending thoughts of comfort and strength to Dianne and nothing but happy memories of the time she and Herb had together.
