A shoppin' we did go...

Janet and I made a trip down to the Macy's of the Mountains, but didn't spend a lot of bucks there. I did leave a few a Wally World, since the larder was bare of fresh veggies and fruit. And I picked up a few half price Christmas items to save for next year.

I'm gaining on the laundry and paperwork, no small task after being gone for so long.

And the temp finally got above 32. Yikes...Florida is sounding really good!

Brian and friends went bike riding and he managed to sail over the handlebars and land on a rock. A good sized hematoma is now perking on his backside. Once a parent, always a parent, no matter how old they get! I keep telling him that he has to take good care of himself, cuz I'm too old to make a new son. Oh the joys!!!

Hope everyone had a joyful and blessed Christmas. We sure did. Life is good!

I raised a son and I also spent a lot of time in the ER getting him cleaned/stitched up. Boy just think they are invincible.

Keep at the laundry and paperwork and pretty soon you will be caught up again. I can so relate. After our bay cruise it takes days to get everything back in order.

We had a great Christmas and now all the decorations are down and stored away for next year. Going to the boat for New Years eve and share Christmas with a couple that had bad colds and we missed our get together. Oh well, we have Christmas with them throughout the year.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs and yes life is good. :)

I'm a little late in getting around but I wanted to pop in and say that I hope you had a very Merry Christmas!

Poor Brian, that just sounds painful and you're so right - once a parent, always a parent and you're going to always worry and fret. I think it was in the contract somewhere that we do that! Hope he's able to sit down without too much pain!

ouch... poor Brian... poor you, too... I know the worry meter went into overdrive on that... It's a mom thing.

Brian needs to quit sailing off that bike! Hope this hematoma isn't as extensive as the last one in that area.
I did a little "after Christmas" shopping - gift bags at Rite Aid and a tree at Home Depot! I'm ready for next Christmas now. (ha ha)
