Meet my new smartphone...a Blackberry Bold 9000. I debated on what to get, but my guru convinced me that with our weak cell reception at home, I would be better off with this model. It is 3G capable (like we get that in Mayberry!), but here in W. Palm Beach I am fully 3G and boy, is it fast! I'm still working on learning all the bells and whistles and getting it customized. That'll take time.
Friend Ivey W. loaned me his 8820 for the trip Down Under and I got sold on the Blackberry product. He is a phone whiz...loves his new Bold, and will help me get mine customized if I need his expertise (I'm sure I will!).
Dick and I made a pilgrimage to Total Wines and More this morning...and ran into friends from Mayberry as we walked out (Paul and Nancy P.)! How's that for it being a small world!!! Believe it or not, we were in Puerto Rico several years ago and ran into a guy from Mayberry. Do you get the feeling that folks from up there love to travel? Of course we do!
And speaking of, we two are going cruising in 8 days with 42 other couples! Stay tuned...

I just got the Blackberry Curve. I had planned to get the iPhone, but didn't because it has an internal battery and I got use to having 2 batteries with my Blackjack. This does everything the iPhone can do, only cheaper. I love it! And it gets a full signal strength outside the city limits where I live. My Blackjack got only a weak signal here in the Pecan Orchard.
Have a wonderful day, Sandy!
