Quilts, and more quilts

Joan took this photo of us gals at the quilt show yesterday.  That is niece Beth on the L.  Hi, Beth!  Come back to see us soon.Quilt show gals

There were literally hundreds of beautiful quilts on display at a local quilt guild show, featuring every color of the rainbow and all shades in between.  Lots of talent in that gym, this time of the stitching variety, rather than sports stuff!  Beth has actually MADE a quilt; all the rest of us were merely appreciators, who definitely enjoyed all the lovely talent.

quilt show Afterward, we did a little poking around in various local stores, just having good Saturday fun on a fantastic fall day.

Today Joan and I take in a festival or two.  Photos will follow.  Of course.

Just another day in paradise, y’all!  I hope you have a lovely day.

Big hugs xoxo

I have a secret desire to one day own a real quilt. Preferably an Amish one. But alas, they are SO expensive. And so I make do with decorative blankets I've collected over the years. My two favorite being a Beatles one my sister gave me for Christmas two years ago and Van Gohs Starry Starry Night that my aunt "made" me.

Sounds like a fun weekend to me. You always make the very most of every single day and I like that.

Have a super day. Big hugs honey. :)

The quilt show sounds fabulous. I would have been in heaven walking around and seeing what everyone has done, Sandy!

Happy Saturday to you:)
