Friday funny

A blonde is on board a small two-seater airplane when suddenly the pilot dies.
Not knowing how to fly a plane, she grabs the radio.

"Mayday, mayday!  My pilot just died!"

Ground control received her call for help and answers back: " Don't worry, madam.
I'll talk you down, just do as I say.  First, I need you to give me your height and position."

"I'm 5"2', and sitting in the right front seat."

Ground control: "Repeat after me: Our Father..... which art in Heaven.... "

We had 10 for Cuban pork last night.  Haley brought a bowl of rice/onions/black beans, which was perfect to soak up all those good pork juices.  Asian coleslaw was delish and is always a good side dish.  Faith brought two casseroles:  sweet potato and broccoli.  Yum.

apple cake

Amy and family missed the shindig because of a prior commitment, but she texted me that there was apple cake at her house that needed to be finished.  No problem.  This small chunk and crumbs are all that were left.  We have some great cooks in this family!

So what’s for dinner tonight?

YUM! Sounds like Momma raised them girls up right!

Dinner tonight is whatever my Dad says he feels like he can eat. Bless his heart.

Big hugs from a very soggy south jawjah swamp xoxo

I know mom raised the girls up right and so did dad. I know you both well enough to know that.

Dinner sounded great. Wish I could have been there. I've not had Cuban pork before, but I'd sure like to try some. I'd bet I'd love it a whole bunch.

Have a terrific day and weekend honey. Big hug to you both. :)
