Early morning visitors

P1020171

Hey, boys, Thanksgiving is just around the corner, so y’all had better head to the woods!  Oh.  They are.  All six of them were making a beeline for the trees after enjoying a leisurely breakfast in the grass, although there are only 3 in the photo.  Naturally, they were in the shade and not in the sun, so this was as good as I could get.  They didn’t stick around to pose.

Pizza was good last night.  One of the gals needed to skip the marbles, so Joan, Joy and I were going to try playing with only 3.  Dick and Dan showed up, so we had a couple of games of 5, which was rather interesting.

It was fun…as always.  We’re so easy to entertain at our age.  We manage to laugh a lot, mainly at ourselves.

It’s Thursday already.  Does anyone have any interesting weekend plans?  Anyone?  Bueller?

The chamber has a parade downtown on Saturday, so I guess that will be our big excitement.  How lame is that?!

Life is good in Mayberry, y’all!

Not lame at all! It's small town at its finest! Thanks for turning out for pizza (and sugar) last night. My gal sure did appreciate it (as did the rest of us).

We must collaborate, of course!

I agree with Haley. It is small time at it's finest.

We have turkey vultures... I wouldn't want to eat one of them. Just saying.

We're having company over for a roast chicken dinner Saturday, and you already know Sunday afternoon is almost always BWTB. :)

Big hugs xoxo

Glad you are enjoying yourselves with Pizza and the game of 5, Sandy:)

Going to see a friend on Saturday, otherwise it'll be a quiet weekend here.

There's quite a few wild turkeys around the area, I don't usually see them though. I guess that's good. I did see a bunch of chickens by the side of the road a few weeks ago. But no, I didn't bother stopping to ask them why they crossed the road.
