Alcohol abuse lecture

An elderly man is stopped by the police around 1 a. m. and is asked where he is going at this time of night.

The man replies, "I am going to a lecture about alcohol abuse and the effects it has on the human body."

The officer then asks, "Really? Who is giving that lecture at this time of night?"

The man replies, "That would be my wife."

Oh yes!  But, of course, that would NEVER be MM in that particular pickle.  No sirree.

So our lunch yesterday with old friends was mighty fine.  I did get a little bead sorting done and a bracelet remade.  I didn’t like the clasp on it, so I just took it apart and replaced the offensive pieces.  Easy peasy.

Hello, September!  Who has big plans for Labor Day weekend?  This is the last hoorah for summer.  Go out and enjoy it!  We sure will.

I have no plans for the weekend, which means I get to take it easy and enjoy, maybe even sit on the porch for a bit and read a book:)

I only drink maybe 2 or 3 glasses of Moscato sparkling white dessert wine a year. Not much of an alcohol consumer here!

I discovered a new found appreciation for you and Miss Bee. Jewelry making takes PATIENCE! And tiny fingers.

I started a little project yesterday to add rings/hoops to a few charms so they would go on my new lia sophia charm bracelet a bit easier. The rings look like mini key rings, as opposed to having to use a tool to open and close the ones that were already on the charms. It took forever, my fingers are too fat. lol. But I have the start of a beautiful charm bracelet that means so much to me! And I didn't have to spend a fortune on the Lia Sophia charms!

I could never see MM or Zane doing this type of think. Not for a minute. We got a couple of great guys. Just saying.

We are off to the boat today for the Labor Day weekend. Off to the island tomorrow morning and will return on Tuesday. Lots of great folks showing up and it's always fun to enjoy the company, fellowship and our dinners. Looking forward to it too.

Have a terrific day and weekend honey. Big hugs to you both. :)
