Somebody was pretty clever with those hay bales. Were these bored farm kids? Who knows!
I see sunny skies and cooler temps here in the No. GA Alps. As the nights get cooler, we'll have more and more color popping out each day. This is one of my favorite seasons. Come on, fall!
So Dick is back playing on the tractor today and working to get a road into a subdivision we have for sale. Go, Dick, go. He loves working outdoors.
And me...well, I'm enjoying a quiet morning of blog reading, while listening to the birds chirping through the open windows, and planning what have-to needs doing first. Somewhere on the agenda I am making a sweet potato casserole to take to our BSP 'Christmas in July' dinner party tonight. Oh really, it is September, the calendar sez, NOT July! That's OK. A party by any name is still a party...and I need to find two gifts in my stash for the Chinese gift exchange, a/k/a stealing a gift! We'll have fun. And the guys attend our socials, so Dick knows dinner is not at home tonight and he needs to be on time! Bless his heart, that man's gonna be late for his own funeral.
And I hope your Saturday has some fun planned in it, y'all! Life is good...

That satellite is a hoot!
I wish it were cool here, but it is in fact cooler than it was and I'll take it! For now!
You have an entire subdivision for sale? Wow. Just one house is too much work for me!
Enjoy your day! Big hugs :]
Whoa...raw land, not houses! Dick does the infrastructure...roads, driveways, etc., not any of that house building stuff:) He never outgrew playing in the dirt...
sounds like a fun evening to me!

ciao Sandy,
The picture is very poetic, the man outdoors, the woman in the house; Autumn is coming, the nature changes its colors!
Have a pleasant dinner...and the potato casserolle recipe?
Hugs!!!
The cooler temps didn't last very long today! Fall is definitely coming though. Where did you find the hay bales? They sure don't look anything like the ones we saw going out west.
Brilliant. It looks just like Jodrell Bank in England. Great pic!
Very creative and I bet a lot of work!
It's been nicely cool here lately and I'm quite enjoying it! I noticed today that some of the leaves have started changing here already which seems kind of soon but with foliage, you just never know when it's going to decide to burst into brilliant color. One final gasp of the leaves before dieing I guess.
I'm sure you had a great time at your dinner and hope you got to steal yourself a nice gift!
