Happy Cinco de Mayo!

No Mexican food here tonight. Dang, I didn't plan that well, now did I? I do have something in the crockpot that smells mighty good: chicken, sausage, beans, tomatoes, carrots, garlic, and wine. Some wine will be in a glass as well as in the pot!
We'll see if this rates getting posted on the blog. Brian will be over to help judge.
Buenos dias, y'all!

No Mexican for me either; Amanda and I went to one of the local restaurants and I had breakfast for dinner while she had a bacon cheeseburger. Just can't get good Mexican here in Connecticut - a constant whine from me it seems!

No Mexican for us either tonight, although I wanted some! I settled for an Asian salad I whipped up (cooked up the chicken last night). Thanks for the dinner offer!

Actually, Sarge, there is good Mexican food in Hiawassee - and I wanted some yesterday but had errands to do at lunchtime instead. Like getting my daughter's cartag sticker so I can send it in her birthday card today...oh well. I think I foresee a trip to El Cancun soon.
